Create a Call Off Grace Period

Your agency can set up a grace period that sets parameters as to how far in advance of a job officers can call off and at what point it is too close to the start of the job for an officer to call off. This activity is performed in the Call Off and Replacement section of the Agency Setup area of the application.

To set up a call off grace period:

1. Select Officer must find a replacement.
   The Would you like to allow a call off grace period? area displays below.
2. Select Yes if you want to allow a call off grace period and continue to the next step. If you select No, this process is complete. Click here to return to the Set up Your Agency page in this knowledge base and continue to the next section there. 
3. First, fill and select the number of minutes, days, or hours prior to the start of a job that the Officer is allowed to call off. Then, in the Call offs are no longer allowed fields, fill in and select the number of days, minutes or hours prior to the job that officers can no longer call off of jobs.
