While many events last a single day, others like music festivals can stretch across multiple days. This requires a capability to create multiple shifts, different starting dates, but ideally within a single job. RollKall offers that opportunity. Except where you create positions, creating multi-day events is the same as creating single events within the application. While you will still select Event as your job type, in the Positions section, you have additional capabilities to select dates for multiple positions, build shifts, and also use a duplication button for easy multi-day event building.
This capability is very similar to creating a single-day event, except for the following:
- As you add multiple positions, be sure to select the appropriate date for each position.
- As you add new positions for multiple days, you will see that they are grouped by day.
- As you add positions on multiple days, you have access to tools to make building multi-day events easier. Note that as with regular events, you can edit and duplicate positions at the day level.
Number in image above | How you can use this icon |
1 | Click to add a new, subsequent day in the event. The positions will also duplicate, so edit those as needed. |
2 | Deletes the day in the event as well as the positions within that day. |
- Continue with adding invoicing details and applicant restrictions as you would for single-day events.
