Following are some Frequently Asked Questions regarding RollKall's Prepay feature.
How does RollKall set up Prepay jobs?
Prepay is set up on a per-job basis.
Are there limitations on Officer hours associated with Prepay jobs?
Yes. Prepay jobs have strict hour limitations for the officers. No going over the set time.
How far in advance of the job starting do I need to create a Prepay job?
Prepay jobs should be created at least 72 hours prior to job start.
How do Clients/Businesses pay for Prepay jobs?
They can use CC / ACH. We take any valid cc.
What if a Client's/Business's payment fails?
We give a four day grace period to correct/provide payment.
Do Clients and Businesses have to use Prepay?
No. Jobs that are set up through your LEA/Coordinator don't require Prepay but we do recommend it.
When will the Client's/Business's card be charged?
There is no set schedule for charging clients/businesses. They are charged when the balance of their reserve funds gets too low.
How does the estimate and payment process work with Prepay?
If we are staffing for a single job, the client/business gets estimate that they approve and pay. The job won’t be staffed until the estimate is paid.
If we are staffing for a recurring job, the client/business gets estimate that they approve and prepay for two weeks of that job. Moving forward it’s all charged once per week, up front/prior to the job. RollKall holds one week’s worth of job payments in reserve, and uses that week's funds at the beginning of that particular week.
As an LEA or Coordinator, can I opt a client/business out of Prepay?
Yes. You can set up your job as you always have, send an estimate, or even set up the job so the client/business MUST approve an estimate before you set up a job. All of those options can be done without Prepay.
Can the client/business cancel a Prepay job?
Yes. However, they leave the unused funds in RollKall's reserve to be used for future jobs.
Do Prepay jobs work with Instant Pay?
Not at this time. RollKall is working on this and hopes to offer the two together in the future.
