Should you need to place officers onto a Do Not Hire list due to being chronically late or some other reason that makes hiring them for off-duty jobs undesirable, managing this situation in RollKall is easy.
Important Notes:
- Officers on your list can still be assigned to RollKall jobs by other Coordinators/Agencies to jobs they manage. If the Officer should not be able to sign up for any RollKall jobs, regardless of Agency or Coordinator, you should put the Officer's status into Suspended.
- Officers on your list will not be notified or able to see any of your posted jobs while on the list.
Add an Officer to the Do Not Hire List
- After logging into RollKall, click Groups in the upper nav bar.
- Click Do Not Hire just under the Nav bar.
- When the Do Not Hire page displays, type the name of the officer you want to add to the list in the Search Officers field; then press Enter.
Note: The My Officers Only toggle lets you limit officer searches to those you manage. - After finding the officer you want to add to the list in the search results, click Add on the far right side of the row.
- Provide the Reason you are adding this Officer to the list; then click Block.
The Officer appears in the Do Not Hire list. All future assignments for this officer are denied and all future applications are deleted.
Remove an Officer from the Do Not Hire List
- After logging into RollKall, click Groups in the upper nav bar.
- Click Do Not Hire just under the Nav bar.
- When the Do Not Hire page displays, type the name of the officer you want to remove from the list in the Search Officers field; then press Enter.
- Click Remove on the far right side of the row.
The Officer can now sign up for and be manually added to jobs.
