The call off policy for jobs is set up by your agency's coordinator.
Depending on how the job has been set up in RollKall by your Coordinator, you may still need to show up for the job. Jobs can be set up in three ways. The first setup allows the call off to take place only if a replacement is found. In the second scenario, it is OK for officers to call off. In the third scenario, officers must call in and speak with the coordinator.
Following is the procedure to follow if you have been assigned a job, but need to call off of it.
- Log into RollKall.
- Tap the My Jobs (
) icon on the bottom nav bar.
- Tap Upcoming at the top.
- Tap the job listing that you would like to call off from.
- Tap the blue icon with the three white dots on it (menu icon) that you see in the bottom right corner.
- Tap the orange Call Off button.
Note: While the coordinator will have chosen one of the three ways officers can call off, RollKall may present more than one option at this point. Regardless of which option you choose, the application will only allow you to call off in the way the coordinator has chosen. For example, if calling in is the way the officer must proceed, no matter which option(s) you are presented with, the application will notify you that you must call in and will open your phone's application so you can make the call.
