For those agencies that wish to approve and deny specific locations where their officers are permitted to work, Location Management can be enabled.
The quickest way to get to job location information is by clicking your name in the upper right corner, then selecting Location Management from the menu. From the Location Management page you can add, approve, or deny locations. You can even change the status of a location from Approved to Denied once the location has been set, if needed.
Add a location
- On the Location Management page, click New Location in the upper right corner.
- After entering a location Name, begin filling out the address information.
- Once you have added in all of the information, you can Approve or Deny the location to tell RollKall whether the location is location is acceptable for scheduling jobs.
- Click Save when you have finished.
The location appears in the Approved or Denied tab as appropriate.
Approve a location
- On the Pending Approval tab of the Location Management page, perform a search for the location you want to approve.
- Select the checkbox to the left of the location.
- Click the Actions dropdown on the far right of the location row; then click Approve. You can approve multiple locations at once by selecting checkboxes to the left of multiple locations and then clicking Approve Selected.
Locations you have approved now appear in the Approved tab of the Location Management page.
Deny a location
- On the Pending Approval tab of the Location Management page, perform a search for the location you want to deny.
- Select the checkbox to the left of the location.
- Click the Actions dropdown on the far right of the location row; then click Deny. You can deny multiple locations at once by selecting checkboxes to the left of multiple locations and then clicking Deny Selected.
Locations you have denied now appear in the Denied tab of the Location Management page.
