Remember that if an Officer's status changes (the officer leaves your department or is suspended, for example), you need to change their status. Many departments also follow a policy that requires annual Officer reverification.
If you are trying to manage Officers who are asking for initial approval into RollKall, refer to this article.
- For officers whose status you wish to change, search for them on the Officer Management page, and after locating them, click Edit on the right side of the row..
The Edit Officer page opens.
Click the Verification tab, and in the Vetted Status field, select the appropriate status.
Status | Description |
Pending | This status is auto-assigned by RollKall to Officers who have submitted a profile but are awaiting verification. |
Verified | This status should be assigned to Officers whose credentials have been verified and can start working RollKall Off-Duty jobs. |
Denied | This status should be assigned to Officers whose credentials are insufficient and therefore should not be assigned to jobs in RollKall. |
Hold | This status should be assigned to Officers who aren't working Off-Duty jobs due to being placed on Desk Duty, are injured, or temporarily unavailable, and so forth. |
Pending Reverification |
This status is auto-assigned by RollKall to Officers under the following circumstances:
|
Suspended |
This status should be applied to Officers who are on suspension. Selecting this option opens another page where you can indicate:
Note: Officers cannot apply to or be assigned to any jobs in RollKall during the suspension period although they can see jobs in the app. In short, Suspension ensures the Officer cannot sign up for any jobs in the RollKall app. If you want the Officer to be able to be assigned to RollKall jobs by other Coordinators/Agencies to jobs they manage, you should put the Officer onto the Do Not Hire list, instead. |
2. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
The Officer's status has now been updated in the RollKall system.
