Posting a job means making it available for officers to sign up for it. You may also manually select the officers who will be assigned to a job. Click here for instructions on how to assign a job manually.
- Click Jobs in the navigation bar.
- Click the Upcoming or Unstaffed tab, as appropriate.
A table listing of jobs displays. - Select the checkbox to the left of the job you want to post; then click the Post Selected button at the top of the table.
The Post Job page displays. - Select whether you want to post this job to an assignment group, to all RollKall officers, or to a specific group(s). To post a job to an assignment group, you will have needed to create that group in your Agency Settings.
- Select whether you want to delay the posting to those outside the group by group, time, or a combination of those two parameters.
- Select whether you want to post the job immediately to your chosen group (all RollKall Officers or a group) or at a designated time. If you decide to post at a designated time, enter the specifics. The Post at a Specific Date/Time is particularly useful for recurring jobs as it automatically schedules and posts those jobs once you have performed an initial setup.
Post jobs about 2-3 weeks prior to first day that you’ll need someone.
- Select your Officer Approval & Assignment Setting. Click here to view a page with videos that cover the various assignment types.
