Why Do We Ask To For Certain Permissions?
Location: For officer safety and to ensure that officers are in the right location, RollKall will ping your location when you clock in, clock out, and periodically throughout the job. Once an officer clocks out of the the job, we immediately stop tracking their location, even if the app remains open. RollKall DOES NOT track an officer's location when they are NOT clocked into a job.
Motion & Fitness: Improves location accuracy, and increases battery efficiency
Camera: Officer's have the ability to upload both notes and photos during their shift, and when submitting an invoice. This feedback and communication is important to help inform fellow officers of any issues that have occurred at the location and/or to provide supporting evidence when submitting an invoice. RollKall DOES NOT transfer any images or notes without the officer initiating the transfer.
Notifications: Central to RollKall is our ability to notify officer's of new job opportunities in their area, and to remind them of any upcoming jobs that have. Below is a short list of notifications you may receive from RollKall
- Open Job: When a new job becomes available in your specified area.
- Job Reminder: A quick reminder that you have an upcoming job scheduled.
- Late Clocking In: Notifies the officer that they have forgotten to clock-in at their location.
- Late Clocking Out: Reminds the officer to clock-out of their location if their job is completed.
Phone: For important messages RollKall will send you an text along with a notification.
