When a job posting's sign up period is over, RollKall can automatically open the job as first come first serve. If the priority is to get the job staffed, then this is the best way to allow anyone to be able to sign up for the job.

After Sign Up Period, Post Jobs With First Come First Serve

1. After a job has been created and saved, click Post.
2. The 'Post Job' modal will pop up. Select your appropriate posting requirements.
3. At the bottom of the Post Job modal, is a checkbox titled After sign up period has expired, post job as First come first serve to original group. Click to check this checkbox. After the sign up period concludes, the job will remain posted and whomever applies to the job first, will be automatically assigned.

Troubleshooting

I don't want the job posted as first come first serve after the sign up period concludes. What are my other options?

We'd recommend you unclick this checkbox to ensure it does not run as first come first serve afterwards. The job will be unposted and then you can choose a different posting rule or manually assign the Officer(s).
